Abstract

We discuss the optimal choice of the working frequency pair in the reflectance-type modified generalized pulse spectrum technique (GPST) algorithm for achieving absolute image reconstruction in the time-domain (TD) diffuse optical tomography (DOT), and we demonstrate that the sensitivity of the datatype to local absorption changes can be effectively enhanced by increasing the difference between the two frequencies.
