Abstract
We present a novel method for time resolved tomographic imaging, based on an ultra-fast femtosecond Ti:sapphire laser and a highly sensitive time gated intensified charge-coupled-device camera. The tomographic method employs a multi-angle, multi-projection illumination scheme using an optical scanning device and a motorized rotation stage, thus enabling full 360 degree illumination. The first time resolved tomographic images obtained from phantom measurements and reconstructed using novel photon propagation algorithms are presented and analyzed.
