Abstract

Amplification of 3.5nm bandwidth in Yb:YAG to pulse energies of 300mJ at 10Hz repetition rate is shown. A spatial light modulator (SLM) introduces spectral amplitude shaping for preserving bandwidth, extending the limit of gain narrowing.
