Abstract

A BiB3O6-based optical parametric amplifier was developed to produce carrier-envelope phase(CEP)-stable 12-μJ, 8.1-fs pulses centered at 1600 nm. Above threshold ionization experiments revealed the focused intensity >1014 W/cm2 with a clear CEP dependence.
