Resonant Grating Mirror for emision control of Er:YAG laser at 1617 nm

Abstract

We used a resonant grating mirror to force the emission of an Er:YAG cavity at 1617 nm with a linear polarization. Similar cavity with etalon and polarizer was design for comparisons.
