SEMI-ANALYTICAL MODEL OF THE PULSED OPTICAL PARAMETRIC OSCILLATOR; COMPARISON WITH EXPERIMENT

Abstract

A model of the pulsed OPO is proposed. The nonlinear coupled equations are solved analytically. We take into account the transverse structures induced on the fields wavefronts by the non-linear coupling. We obtain a good agreement between the calculated pulse profiles and the experimental ones. The signal energy predicted experimentally agrees well with the measured one.
