Biomedical Diagnostics Using Optical Coherence Tomography

Abstract

The progress in creating compact, fast-scanning OCT devices and their use in biomedical research and clinical diagnostics is reported. The results of OCT applications in dermatology, ophthalmology, neurobiology and internal organ studies are presented to demonstrate capabilities and requirements for further development of the method.
