Abstract

Here, a comprehensive analysis on the impact of the sensing fiber lengths on different sensitivities of single mode-multi mode-single mode (SMS) and multi-single-multi mode (MSM) segment sensor probe under different perturbations such as temperature, strain and refractive index has been propounded and studied thoroughly. MSM offers higher performance than SMS.
