Broadband, Filterless Microwave Photonic Image-reject Mixer Based on Balanced Photodetectors

Abstract

A filterless microwave photonic image-reject mixer based on balanced photodetectors is proposed. The results show that spur suppression ratio is above 63.9dB from 10 to 40GHz and maximum image rejection ratio is 54.4dB.
