Precoded DMT System Enhanced with Geometric Shaping

Abstract

We propose to optimize the performance of precoded discrete-multitone (DMT) transmission system by using geometric shaping (GS). The simulation results show that up to 0.9 dB receiver sensitivity improvement has been achieved.
