Integrated Photonic OAM Emitter with Wide Tuning Range

Abstract

An integrated photonic OAM emitter has been theoretically designed, numerically simulated, experimentally fabricated. With our proposal, each part could be optimized independently. The number of downloading waveguides is 32 so that a larger dynamic switching range of OAM modes (l=-16 ~+16 in theory) and higher radiation efficiency can be achieved.
