Abstract

Combinatorial quest for cost effective - environment friendly all oxide photovoltaics raised several outliers that didn’t match the anticipated p-n junction mechanisms. Further investigation showed that spontaneous nanostructures forming at the back contacts are the source of Surface Plasmon Resonance, causing Hot Electron injection and PV activity.
