Abstract

Currently, the relationship of Network Management (NM) and transport SDN Controller is difficult to understand under SDN architecture. At first, it proposed some scenarios to clarify features/functions of NM and Controller. Then the standardization activity is mentioned. The future of NM and Controller is considerable. The controlling of both virtual and physical resources and the mapping interact between virtual and physical resources are urgent to industry.
