Towards in vivo imaging of intramolecular fluorescence resonance energy transfer parameters
Fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) imaging provides an invaluable tool for studying molecular interactions in biology. However, its application to deep tissue imaging has been limited. The authors present a very convincing approach to performing FRET imaging deep in tissues and use simulations and tissue phantoms to test the approach.
