Abstract

We report a self-calibrating polarization analyzer fabricated with binary magneto-optic polarization rotators. The device automatically overcomes wavelength and temperature dependent inaccuracies and has impressive state of polarization and degree of polarization accuracies of 0.3° and ±0.5%, respectively, from 1460to1580nm.
