Improved double-phase computer-generated holograms implemented with phase-modulation devices

Abstract

A modification of the double-phase holographic code, based on phase modulation devices, that substantially improves the signal-to-noise ratio in the reconstruction plane without the need to increase the complexity of hologram cells (or macropixels) is proposed.
