Collapse criterion for pulse dynamics in a periodic nonlinear waveguide

Abstract

The exact sufficient criterion of the collapse is found for the nonlinear spatiotemporal pulse dynamics in a periodic waveguide. A new method to prove the blowup of the initial pulse is described.
