Abstract
We observe, for what is to our knowledge the first time, stimulated Raman scattering and four-wave mixing in a liquid-core optical fiber filled with a mixture of carbon disulfide and phenylethanol pumped by the frequency-doubled output of a Q-switched YAG laser (λ = 532.1 nm). The frequencies of the stimulated Raman scattering and four-wave mixing spectra are specified, and theoretical interpretations are also given.
