Propagator for the modulation transfer function of a wide-angle scatterer

Abstract

A propagator that expresses the change in modulation transfer function with the optical path is defined for a wide-angle scatterer medium. The expression compares favorably with moiré deflectometer measurements on colloidal suspensions of various concentrations.
