Abstract

The principles of building measurement setups based on a hardware and software system developed for measuring the line spread functions and modulation transfer functions of objectives designed for operation in the infrared spectrum are considered. The main advantage of the proposed system is that it can be installed on almost any collimator test bench for determining the characteristics of the lens quality, focal length, rear working segment, distortion, and curvature of the image field.
