Abstract
The schematics and description of a radiation source with a wavelength of 0.92 μm, pulse width of 0.35 μs, pulse power of about 1 W, and maximum repetition rate of 10 kHz are presented. The optical system of the emitter forms a beam with a divergence of 2.5°. The results of the investigation of the operation modes of various types of light-emitting diodes and their power circuits, which provide maximum power and minimum radiation pulse widths, are reported. The emitter operates in an autonomous mode with a built-in power supply and is built from commercial off-the-shelf components.
