Abstract
We report on recent refinements in the development of high-resolution optical multiplex spectroscopy using stochastic excitation. We discuss the attainment of higher excitation bandwidths through the use of faster digital noise sources and digital filtering techniques, the active suppression of residual amplitude modulation noise, laser-frequency stabilization using an external stabilizer, and the performance of various data-analysis methods.
