Abstract
High-resolution Doppler-limited laser optogalvanic spectroscopic experiments were conducted in a La–Ne hollow-cathode discharge to study the hyperfine structure of some of the allowed transitions of neutral 139La. The magnetic-dipole coupling constants (A) for 21 levels were calculated. The A constants for the levels
are being reported, we believe, for the first time.
