Anisotropic scattering in photorefractive crystals: comment

Abstract

In LiNbO3:Cu and LiTaO3:Cu crystals, simultaneous anisotropic scattering has been observed in two conical rings: one corresponding to a scalar noisy grating recording with anisotropic diffraction and the other to a grating with anisotropic recording and reconstruction. The latter proves that the presence of specific photovoltaic charge transport affects grating formation in these crystals.
