Abstract

We present a theoretical study of polarization spectroscopy (PS) for the Jg=0Je=1 transition. An analytical form of the line shape in PS is obtained in the Doppler-broadened limit up to the first (arbitrary) order of the Rabi frequency of the probe (pump) beam; this shape is influenced by the coherent effect resulting from nonlinear interactions between laser beams via atoms. The analytical solutions of the slope at the resonance and amplitude of the line shape in PS also are obtained.
