4s24p–4s4p2 and 4s24p–4s25s transitions of galliumlike ions from Rb vii to In xix

Abstract

Spectra of the galliumlike ions Rb vii-In xix excited by low-inductance sparks and laser-produced plasmas were observed with a 10.7-m grazing-incidence spectrograph. Wavelengths for the 4s24p2P°–4s4p2 2P and 4s24p2P°–4s25s2S multiplets, energy levels for the 4s24p2P°, 4s4p2 2P, and 4s25s2S terms, and ionization energies are given for each ion.
