Abstract
A simple thermal tuning wavelength filter is experimentally demonstrated by using a high polarization extinction ratio polymer waveguide and a polarization-maintaining fiber. This filter can be tuned with its free spectral range, on/off ratio, and filtered wavelength. The large temperature dependence wavelength shift of also makes it a suitable candidate of thermal sensors.
