Abstract

We numerically investigate the excitation, propagation, and characteristic features of spatial solitonlike waves formed by three-wave mixing in a birefringent bulk medium in the presence of spatial walk-off. Effects such as angular steering, all-optical switching, and beam pointing stabilization are addressed in the cases of normal and tilted input beams.
