Abstract

We discuss the results of preliminary measurements of nondegenerate two-photon emission between two excited states of the same parity of sodium. In the presence of a strong deexcitation pulse in near resonance with one of the intermediate states, small but repeatable signals have been observed at the complementary wavelength.
