Abstract

In this paper we present and review recent results that we have developed on the reconstruction of multidimensional signals from zero-crossing or threshold-crossing information. Specifically, we develop theoretical results that state conditions under which multidimensional band-limited signals are uniquely specified to within a scale factor with this information. We also present an algorithm for recovering signals from zero-crossing or threshold-crossing information once it is known that the signals satisfy the appropriate constraints. Examples showing images recovered from threshold crossings are included.
