Nonlinear effects in holography with two reference point sources

Abstract

A modified Bryngdahl-Lohmann experiment is described. Particular attention is given to the reconstructed images near the central zero and it is shown that both the linear and the nonlinear effects have contributed to these images. A comparison is made with Burckhardt’s grating compensated holography.
