Influence of exposure time on spectral properties of turbulence-degraded astronomical images

Not Accessible

Your library or personal account may give you access

Abstract

Mathematical expressions are obtained for the power spectrum of a turbulence-degraded image of a point source as a function of exposure time. Calculations are based on the near-field Rytov–Kolmogorov approximations and the Taylor hypothesis. Comparisons with available data are satisfactory.
