Abstract

The Zeeman structures at 52 000 Oe of 132 transitions terminating on the 12 lowest levels of the 4f126s configuration of 170Er ii have been measured and analyzed. The values of the g factors derived from these data are found to be in excellent agreement with the calculated values of Goldschmidt.
