Abstract
A luminescent screen is described which will give visible luminescence under excitation by three-volt energy electrons, at a beam current density of 10 microamperes/cm2. The luminescent screen consists of a layer of hex-ZnO:(Zn) phosphor deposited on conducting glass. Some of the properties of these screens are discussed.
