Abstract
Instrumentation is described with which it is possible to determine the spectral distribution of rapidly varying infrared sources as a function of time.
A ten channel infrared spectrometer utilizing a multiple arrangement of Golay pneumatic detectors provides information for a ten channel electronic switch which presents this information on a single oscilloscope screen. Silver tube “wave guides” are used to conduct radiation passing through ten separate exit slits to the corresponding detectors. This equipment was developed in connection with a project sponsored by Evans Signal Laboratory, Signal Corps, Department of the Army, Belmar, N. J.
