A method of calibrating a wave meter for short waves, three to five meters, using an ordinary amplifying tube and a B, battery. Resonance is indicated by means of a milliammeter or voltmeter in the plate circuit of the tube. Data is given showing that the accuracy of the method is better than one percent. The average deviation from the mean being about one tenth of a per cent. A simple wave meter is described.
