Abstract

The pseudospectral time-domain (PSTD) technique is employed to accurately simulate the optical phase conjugation (OPC) refocusing phenomenon of light propagating through a macroscopic scattering medium. The effect of medium thickness is analyzed by means of numerical solutions of Maxwell's equations. Simulation findings show that the OPC refocused light width is insensitive to optical thickness.
