Not Accessible

Abstract

We describe an interferometer suitable for the vacuum uv region of the spectrum. The device uses grazing incidence reflections between two plane parallel mirrors to obtain a set of coherent beams which interfere in the exit plane of the interferometer. The theory presented shows the shapes of the fringes which under certain conditions have a higher finesse than Fabry-Perot fringes.
