Wavefront corrections of incoming light in two-mirror telescope by Seidel-sum method of mirror aberrations

Abstract

In this paper we have designed a two-mirror telescope by use of the first-order design method. Three kinds of third-order aberrations—spherical, coma, and astigmatism—are corrected with conic constants by using the Seidel sum. We needed to reconstruct the wavefront in the image plane for true works, therefore we reconstructed the wavefront of designation using Zernike polynomials and OSLO and ZEMAX software for simulations and calculations in order to produce a high-quality optical telescope.
