An Autocollimation Measurement of the Right Angle Error with the Help of Polarized Light

Abstract

In the paper a new method of the sign establishment for the right-angle deviation error in prisms is described. The method has been developed on the basis of the known autocollimation method of right-angle control and consists of introducing polarized light. Some examples of how to establish the right-angle deviation error sign are given.
