Abstract

An observation method for astronomical objects is described which improves especially the angular resolving power and in some cases also the limit of detection. A modulator which is far away from a light modulates the light of the wanted object. Proper information handling enables the detector to detector decide between this light and the light of other objects. This method makes it possible to resolve details on the surface of fixed stars nearby the earth. The method can also be used to observe other physical phenomena which propagate like beams.
