An Improved Optical Arrangement for Ultramicroscopic Studies

Not Accessible

Abstract

The examination of conventional ultramicroscopic arrangements shows that the performance can be improved by a factor of 200. It is now possible to study very faint scattering centers and the thermal scattering of the bulk material of nominally very pure transparent single crystals. A photomicrograph of NaCl is presented as an example.
