Abstract

Miniature aspheric and anamorphic plastic lenses are built from liquid droplets suspended on circular or elliptical-shaped pedestals. Refractive-index gradients are formed by the flow of premixed monomer volumes through a central conduit by the use of computer-controlled syringe pumps.
