Abstract

The radiative cross sections of random homogenous dense systems of interacting Rayleigh particles are studied analytically in terms of a proposed model for the radial distribution function. The model provides a closed-form expression for the radial distribution function that captures the essential features of the function’s behavior as described by experimental results and numerical calculations.
