Abstract

A several millisecond pulsewidth pulsed Nd:YAG laser with output power of 200 W average and 5000 W peak is developed, and its performance is investigated. The experimental results are taken as a guide to designing and constructing a long-pulsewidth pulsed laser with high average output power.
