Abstract

A method for displaying ordinary transmission holograms with a white light source is described, based on compensating the color dispersion in a broad band of the visible spectrum. Although some degree of image blur remains because of the size of the source, sharp and bright images at 30 cm from the hologram plane have been reconstructed.
