A Simple Voltage Amplifier for Photovoltaic Cells

Abstract

One-transistor amplifier circuits for photovoltaic cells are described which allow operation of the cell into a near-zero load resistance, and which yield voltage signals of up to 60 V. The suitability of the circuits for quantitative work is examined.
