Differential Helmholtz resonator as an optoacoustic detector

Abstract

Two identical optoacoustic cells are connected to give a Helmholtz resonator. The phase and magnitude of the signals from both cells are investigated. It is shown that an enhancement of the SNR is obtained using the phase properties of the signals.
