Abstract
A high-resolution dynamic angle sensor has been constructed in the form of an equal-path solid fused silica interferometer. This paper describes the design, construction, and experimental evaluation of an angle-sensing interferometer that can resolve angular changes of 0.1 sec of arc over large rotation angles at angular rotation rates of 10°/sec.
