Performance Characteristics of a 10-kW Industrial CO2 Laser System

Abstract

Performance characteristics of an industrial high powered laser system are presented. These include laser gain and laser medium quality measurements that show that the laser system is capable of delivering a 15 kW, near diffraction limited beam to a focal point. A description of this laser system is also given.
